Meet
my cougars.
Yesterday was a very B-I-G day for BYU basketball. My husband was all sorts of nervous for the game. We went out for some morning errands and admist the Arcade Fire music playing and Luke babbling in the back, my husband grips the steering wheel a little harder and says "I've got butterflies in my stomach." (I honestly didn't know you could get so nervous for a sporting event you aren't directly involved with, but I stand corrected)
The Lowes visit was full of "that's a good lookin' outfit little guy" by all of the men passing us in the aisles. Everyone had their gear out for the big game. I love this part of game days.
Luke for some reason had a love/hate relationship with his BYU jacket. He would flail and cry each time we had to put on his jacket, but once it was on- he loved it.
Kids.
We had a party (small get together with family) at our house during the game. Great fun.
Luke was upset that he had to go take a nap during "
jimmer time". Ok, let's just be honest- he was upset cause he
wanted a nap!
Fredette about it Luke!
(I really really really wanted to say these two lines somewhere in this post!)
I don't know the BYU fight song, but if I did (or you do) it would be inserted here.
Go B-Y-U!
(although I will always be an Aggie first)

Rise and Shout the Cougars are out, Along the trail to fame and glory. Rise and shout our cheers will ring out, As you unfold your victory story. On you go to vanquish the foe, For alma mater's sons and daughters. As we join in song, in praise of you, our faith is strong. We'll raise our colors high in the blue, and cheer the Cougars of BYU!
(Why yes, yes I did write that from memory.)
