It snowed.
I don't get too frustrated with the snow in February (springtime) because I know it will melt quickly. There was about 6 inches on the ground this morning and it was all gone by dark. I definitely can not complain, especially since my parents still have probably 7,000 feet of snow left. Ok, a tad bit of exaggeration there, but they still have like 2 feet. Yuck!
Luke HAS to get outside every day.
We bundled him up to go play in the snow. It was the super light snow, but Luke thought it was the heavy, wet, Seattle snow we had during Christmas so he wasn't too keen on the white stuff.
He got over that when he saw the slide. Man alive when the snow is there and he has his snow pants on, he cruises down that thing. Makes me a little nervous, he of course loves it.
I love his turtle neck.
Oh and his boots. I want a pair like his.
After a morning of playing in the snow, this un-cuddly baby demanded I cuddle with him. We laid on the couch with no TV, no noise, and this little guy fell asleep within 10 minutes of snuggling. I was SHOCKED. It was only 11:40 and he was out like a light. No lunch. No fresh diaper. He was EXHAUSTED. Slept for 3+ hour too.
I took the time to just cuddle with my not-so-little-anymore baby.
I'm hoping sickness isn't on the horizon. That it isn't the cause of this change of heart in snuggling. I'm afraid it might be the case...
