one more month and my boy is one. ONE. i know every mother says this, but i can't believe it. this ALMOST first year of motherhood has flown by. last year at this exact time i was MISERABLE. seriously look. people at work would see me say "oh you haven't had your baby yet..." pretty much people. I WAS HUGE.
but all that doesn't matter now, because it was totally worth all of the swelling, sleepless nights, stretch marks, and pain. this boy brings a mama so much joy. i am a mom! i sometimes can't believe Heavenly Father has entrusted me with this perfect-innocent little boy.
so here is what a day in the life of Luke is like in his 11 month:
wake up around 7-8:30 {if darren is up early- luke seems to wake earlier too}
play- this is his happiest time of day
*plays catch
*watches Mickey
*wrestles
*drives his cars
*reads books
eat breakfast- luke's favorite meal of the day {unless we have cafe rio for dinner}
go on a walk/ get out of the house
nap for an hour or two
eat some lunch
play and help mom do some stuff around the house/ or errands
{luke loves being out and about}
have a "ba ba"
nap number 2. lasts around 1 to 2 hours
wait for daddy to come home
dinner
count the clock until we can get in the tub
tubtime!
an adorable boy in jammies who is ready for his "ba ba" and reading
bedtime at 8
then mama and dad come check on him before they go to bed and wish they could wake him and cuddle him
wash.rinse.REPEAT.

he is sooo cute! i still remember seeing you at the dr.'s office right before you delivered. i can't believe an entire year has gone by!
It was so funny to me that you call his sunglasses his "cool dudes". Adele doesn't even know the work glasses because we have called them "cool dudes" from day one. I think this means we are just really awesome moms!
Okay, wow, there is a photo of Darren somewhere that is exactly like this. We need to dig that one up. Cool dude fer sure.
