8 Months

Little Luke is 8 months old today.   

He is just into EVERYTHING.  He has learned a lot over the last month and continues to surprise us all.

Officially crawling.  Although, when he wants to get somewhere fast, the army crawl comes out again.  This makes for constant watching and telling him "No Luke, not for babies."  However, walking (as shown in the pic above) is his favorite!  He feels so big, and now walks with you as you walk.  Yikes, I just thought I had a baby...

We had to lower the crib to the lowest setting.  He can pull himself up to standing position and loves to play in the crib before naps.  

Luke is getting a new carseat (should be here this week).  Its time to say goodbye to the bright orange baby carrier.  It has served us well... but this little chunk is ready for a bigger seat. He weighs almost 21 pounds.  

Poor little guy has had his first ear infection.  Fortunately, it wasn't too bad and we caught it early enough that we didn't need to have antibiotics.   

Favorite toys: BOOKS!! He loves flipping the pages and prefers to play with them over most toys.  Hopefully it is a sign of a reader... which Darren and I aren't. So lets cross our fingers.  

My favorite: He laughs at himself in his mirror in the car.  It's a fake laugh, but is so funny.
