Lake Wenatchee

We were brave souls and made the 15 hour, yes I said 15 hour, drive from Utah to Wenatchee at the beginning of August.  The boys actually were total troopers in the car.  Luke is our star traveler and Graham slept basically the entire time.  We started our drives (both ways) around 4 am after Graham's feeding to get to our destination earlier.  That was very smart with the little guys.

The lake was heaven for Luke.  He had plenty of things to do.  Rock throwing. Hot tubbing. Rock throwing. Movie watching. Train building. Rock throwing.  Bike rides. Rock throwing.  Jumping on the tramp.  Rock throwing. Hammock swinging.  oh and did I mention Rock throwing?!

Darren got in some great kite boarding and wind surfing during the week.

I was so lucky to have plenty of help with both babies.  Karen was a saint and took Graham every night. It was quite the adjustment coming to home and not having her anymore!

We just feel so blessed that Dick and Karen built this place for us to all gather and spend time as a family.  It already has a special place in mine and Darren's hearts.  We hope that we can pass that love on to our boys... I have a feeling that won't be too hard :)
