end of the civic

Darren and I have had the same cars since we started dating almost six years ago.

The civic and the subaru.

They have both served us well.

We dated in those cars.  We have held hands in those cars.  I've cried (Darren's not a crier) in those cars. We've laughed in those cars.  We graduated college while driving those cars. We've driven to places of work that have shaped us into who we are right now.  We've brought a baby home in one of those cars.  We've had lots and lots of conversations in those cars.  We've listened to lots of Indie music in those cars.  We've fallen more in love in those cars.  

But sadly, we had to say goodbye to one of them.

Our family of three, soon to be four, was getting pretty crammed in either car.  So we decided to put the civic up for sale.  (sniff, sniff)

Fortunately the civic has stayed in the family, and I think so far the Hills are loving it as much as we did, especially when filling it up at the pump!!

Good bye Civ- you served us well for so many years!

As much as I hated saying goodbye to my first real car, I'm sure loving the space and power in our new car!
