Last night Darren and I discussed the process of getting Luke into his big boy room. With baby #2 coming before we know it, I can't believe it really time to start thinking about stuff like this. It makes me somewhat sad to say goodbye to Luke in a crib and even more nervous to think of the freedom we are giving him with a big boy bed, but time has come...and its exciting!
Luke loves his room.
I love his room.
This morning Luke pulled me away from laundry and begged for me to play with him in his room. I was easily persuaded. Elefun is the latest craze for this one. He loves that game. I love watching that sparkle in his eye as he watches those paper butterflies fly out of the trunk. I love watching those little chubby hands of his pick up every last one to repeat the process over and over again. But what I love most is the fact that he wants me there by his side to experience his excitement.
Have you noticed that Luke got a hair cut? We had Caitlyn trim up the back. Let's just say Luke is not a fan of getting his haircut... so we did what we could. Uncle Karston is NOT a fan of the new shag. He said he looks like he has a bowl cut. He even called my mom and said he didn't know if they could be best buddies anymore. Sorry Pink, no more business in the front and party in the back! And I have a feeling he will still be your buddy, so I'm not too worried.
Puzzle mess. But Luke makes sure they all go back in the right spot. Love that about this boy! Doing the pointer finger like his grandma!!!!
