We are lucky ducks. The last four days Bommy (Karen or Darren's mom) has been here! It's always a good time when she is around. We gets lots of projects done, Costco runs, some spoiling of the babe (and us), and good company.
Darren and I also got to go do a temple session together! That's a rare occurrence, and it was so refreshing to go spend some quality time with my husband. Thanks a million Karen!!
I'm so glad we had some good, no great, weather while she was here. Unfortunately, she text me when she got off the plane in Seattle saying it was raining there. Hopefully the sun comes out there too! We are all ready for spring.
There is something so tender and loving about snuggling and reading with a baby (if I can still consider Luke a baby). Here is a moment, the o-n-l-y moment, when Luke let Bommy hold him.
Luke isn't very warm to other people besides Mom and Dad. We're working on that. I'm so glad Karen was so patient with this little spit-fire that insisted on being at his mom's (or dad's) side at all times.
We love you Karen! So glad you are coming back to visit soon!
