to {great} grandma's house we go

epilogue to being sick... we have now all been sick.  especially little luke.  wednesday morning greeted us with throw-up in the crib and continually came through out the day.  nothing is worse than projectile throw-up from a baby.  it is just so sad.  so here we are to sunday and his tummy still is a little upset. he is keeping food down now, i just know he is not up to par.
i really do dress my child- but his shirt was unavailable in the picture below because of throw-up.  luckily nothing got on grandma's carpet.

my parents are in hawaii so we are "babysitting" fuzz. Partay! actually it is super hard having a baby and a teenager.
bedtimes: 8 pm and 2 am.
{curfew is at 11 but he doesn't go to bed until 2}
awaken: 7:45 and noon

we had a great afternoon with my grandma.  i just love her. everyone loves her.  i called her friday afternoon to see if we could bombard her house for the sunday afternoon session of conference.  she kindly said yes and made us her famous mashed potatoes, and we enjoyed every minute.  luke loved all the toys, she's been collecting for 30+ years- which makes for a good collection.
look at that brown tape to keep the toy box together.  i remember being little and playing with these exact toys.  they have taken a beating- to say the least.

remember this, well we attempted haircut #2. luke loves getting his hair trimmed. absolutely loves it.

my new goal is to have my child in clothes for pictures.  sheesh.
and next on the agenda is getting this little guy back to 100%.

You just gave me early morning warm fuzzies... this post reminded me of my late Grandma Sadleir's toy box she used to have. They were kept in a particular closet, she would lay down a "magic blanket" (an old 70's sheet) & we would sit & play with vintage toys. I can still smell that closet in my head (if that's even possible!)

Hey, it's that time of year again! I need your address so I can send you a lil invite! Can you email or txt it to me? Thanks! laurenclyde@comcast.net
