Unfortunately (actually I don't really know if it is unfortunate...) I was born right at the beginning of March Madness. I've dealt with that for almost a quarter of a century... ALMOST PEOPLE! The night I was born my dad rushed to make to my birth (ok I'm being a little dramatic) but my mom's water did break in the middle of the night and my dad had to rush to meet her at the hospital. This was before cell phones. Can't imagine. My dad and the doctor watched games while my mom was in labor. (Now having a kid of my own, this wouldn't have been that bad... as I would have slept through the whole game anyways) So needless to say, my dad has been "preoccupied" during my birthdays.
However, in defense for my Dad... HE HAS ALWAYS REMEMBER MY BIRTHDAY. ALWAYS.
This year it so happened that Darren went along with the boys to enjoy basketball (far too many games for my liking). It was a great weekend for him, but I know he felt horrible knowing he would miss my birthday.
Sunday morning came and I was talking to Darr on the phone chatting away, when I heard the doorbell ring... not a big deal for me since I was at my Mom's house.
Then a minute later Fuzz came in the room and said "Are you talking to D?" Yes. I replied.
"Perfect, here ya go." It was the bag shown below.
Darren got me started on Troll Beads for Christmas and I love them. It is such a fun tradition to start.
I was so flattered Darren took the time to call Shane and have him deliver my bead on my b-day.
True love people, true love.
So if that wasn't enough. Wednesday I made the trek home all by myself with L. We were champs and made it home with only 30 minutes of crying. (It was worth it as he took a 3 hour nap later in the day.) But as I opened the garage door, tired from the drive this is what I saw...

K- Keish. Now you have to train for a marathon with me!!! That would be (funs not the word), but it would be an accomplishment.
That jogging stroller looks so nice. Sounds like a great b-day!
