Well I haven't posted for awhile, so I apologize to all the readers of this fantastic blog. haha....
So last weekend I HAD to go home. I haven't been homesick in like forever, but I was determined to get to Vernal over the weekend. Darren had a GMAT class that went until 12, and he suggested I just go without him... but I couldn't. So we headed to VTown last Saturday at 1. I have to say that one of the perks (I'm trying to find as many perks as I can these days) of living in Utah Valley is that it is only 2 hours away from home, compared to the 4 hours from Logan.
When we got to Vernal, the boat was loaded and we headed to Steinaker. I have to say I love being on the boat. I'm so glad Darr and I both have a passion for water sports, and we insist on having our own boat when we have kids. Until then... we just use my parents! haha... Actually I can guarantee my mom loves it when we come home.
So you all thought the weekend was over... not even. The Young's finished their house (which is incredible) and we went over for a BBQ. It is crazy that we have only known them for 4 almost 5 years and it feels like I've known them my whole life. On Sunday Burk came over and took out my Dad's stitches... so of course we had to put on the "birth control glasses" as Burk calls them.
