On the road again....

I swear the weekends go by way too fast! This week has been pretty crazy (and that is kinda an understatement).

Last Sunday we were informed that my grandpa (my mom's dad) had a heart attack and was being life-flighted to IHC hospital in Salt Lake. So at 9:30 at night we headed to Salt Lake to be there when my granpda & grandma arrived. We were able to see him around 12:30am and got back to Orem around 1:30 in the morning. Monday-Wednesday Darren and I were keeping the road hot. We headed up there to see him, and see family. I am HAPPY to report that he is doing better, and hopefully will be walking and back in Roosevelt soon.

So as summer is "winding down" I get really jittery that I need to get home to go boating. I know that I have posted tons of pictures of us on the lake... but it is what we love to do in the summer.

We headed to V-town Friday afternoon and we were able to stay the night at the cabin. FYI: when I refer to it being a cabin I'm not kidding around.... it is like the size of one family room these days. You have to turn on a pump everytime you want to go to the bathroom.

Saturday morning we went to Flaming Gorge and it was a great day. My parents bought us a new surfboard and it is sooooo much fun. I have recently gotten the hang of it, and I love it. I probably get too cauky with my brothers and husband... but it is the one thing I can be cauky about.
