Never Say Never

I swore when I made this blog that I wouldn't go out of control with all the features.... well LOOK at the background! I can seriously see how this get addicting, because I'm getting addicted to my blog as well as everyone else's.

We are adjusting to our new life here in Orem (not Provo) and it has been really nice to be so close to everyone. Last week we decided to randomly go see Dev and Tyler just because we wanted to see them. My parents also came out and were able to see our new place. So the family outings are definitely more frequent than they were in Logan.

So I don't have a cute baby to post cute pictures of... and we are pretty boring with work and school going on, but here is our story for the night:

Darr and I decided that we were going to go to the temple tonight so Darr went to the grocery store to start cooking dinner before I got home from work. (He is an awesome husband!) He got Pork Chops.... long story short he burnt them black so we ended up having Mac and Cheese. But we were still determined to get to the temple by 7.

So we are now at the Provo temple and I pull out my recommend and they scan it in... "This recommend is expired" are the next words we both heard. We didn't know our recommends expired the end of May... So we didn't get to go to the temple!

Good thing we noticed before we head down to Vegas for Tyler and Tashina's wedding!
