The middle of February it was announced that there would be a special sacrament meeting that next week and to invite all in the ward to attend that next Sunday...
We had just gotten a call that morning that we both needed to go meet with the Stake Presidency.
Ahh... We thought maybe he was getting a different Elder's Quorum calling or something, but when that was announced I turned to Darren and said "I'm going to enjoy this sacrament meeting."
He was called to be the 2nd counselor with Bishop Tom Fox and 1st counselor Jason Huddleston.
It has definitely been a stretch for me handling the kids all on my own on Sunday's but I think we are getting the hang of things.
I asked Jennifer Richards to sit with us and it has been working out wonderfully. I mainly need someone to sit with Graham right now. She does great with keeping the older boys under control while I wrestle with Morgan.
I've really tried to keep the boys from getting resentful with all the meetings. I tell them daddy is going to help people instead of constant meetings... it is totally helping all of us have a better attitude.
