Christmas

Christmas time was so fun with the boys this year.  We started off our tradition of going on the mini-polar express in Lindon.  Luke and Graham both loved it so much.  The Ricks joined us again this year, and it is always extra fun when they join us.

Last year Luke absolutely hated Santa and was still working through so many things.  This year, he was so excited and told Santa exactly what he wanted... "A Thomas Track Castle"!! Graham is cool with stuff if Luke is.

We did something new this year and went and chopped down our very own Christmas tree.  Once again with the Ricks :) and it was ummm an adventure... kind of like a Christmas Vacation adventure.  We found a tree but Darren and I both hated it right after we cut it down, but to our pleasant surprise we ended up loving it!!  Almost so much, we might have a real tree again next year!

Darren had to work a crazy amount of hours the week before Christmas, which was hard but it all worked out.  We did other fun things like lights at Thanksgiving Pointe, a polar express party for Luke at school, lots of Polar Express watching, and reading Christmas books.

We headed to Vernal for Christmas morning and it was a lot of fun to be with my family.  The boys were magical. It really was a perfect morning.  Luke was soooooo happy to finally have his Thomas Track Castle.

We were able to talk to Elder King, who sounded fantastic, and enjoy the rest of the day in our pajamas.  We feel so blessed.

I'm enjoying my new coat, blendtec, phone case, and clothes.  Darren is loving his JawBone UP, his garmin bike computer, smart scale, and new clothes and socks.  Santa treated us all very well.
