We finally took the plunge...
On Friday March 9th, we had a meeting with Kristyn to discuss potty training. She honestly gave us a 16 page packet on the techniques we could use. I was shaking in my pants. But I felt like we needed to do it. So that day we went and got Starbursts, Sprite, and a train set for when he did a poop in the potty.
Saturday was A DISASTER! He had not one success and I was completely frustrated with it all. Sunday we just put him in a diaper to go to church.
I text Kristyn Sunday night, and she told me to send him in a diaper and they would switch him to underwear when he got to school. I was determined to get him to pee in the toilet once.
When he came home from school that Monday, I was determined. We didn't do anything but just sit and try to go to the bathroom. He finally did it and it was like the light clicked.
Luke loved the potty dance and praise he received every time he went and it then he followed a day after with a successful poop in the potty.
He has impressed us all. He still has his accidents, but he is getting the hang of it! Man alive I love this little boy.
Luke actually goes lots of nights even with a dry pull-up. He's such a stud.
