Graham: 10 weeks

Graham and I had a date this week just the two of us. We got to go see Dr. Johnson for his two month check-up.  If you know me, you know how I feel about our pediatrician.  I won't go into further detail on the blog, but just to give you a hint, I'm somewhat obsessed with the guy.

Anyways...

Our little lover boy is growing like a weed.  Can we please make time slow!!!  I must say this time around I'm in no rush to make this little boy grow up.

Graham is right on target with the "typical" 2 monthers:

He smiles like crazy and can get some giggle coos out of him.

His head is crazy strong.  We are almost done helping him support it when holding him.

He definitely has different cries for different needs.  He doesn't cry often, but when he does you know you need to drop what you are doing and take care of the little guy.

He is very easy to satisfy when he's crying.  If you change that poopy bum, give him his food, or that soft blanket he's craving the kid settles right on down.

He's sucking on his fists like crazy.  I can tell he's trying to figure out his hands.  I love it until I'm feeding him and he's scratching me like crazy...

We are all loving our nighttime schedule.  He's becoming very consistent with the 10 pm to 6 am schedule.  Then I hurry and feed him and he goes back down till 8 or so.  Soooo loving that!

But we've got to work on the nap situation.  He cat naps all day because we are constantly running Luke around all parts of town.

The other day Graham was having a fussy moment and I couldn't seem to figure out what he needed.  I tried all the basics: feeding, snuggling, diaper changing, but it just wasn't cutting it.  Luke was sitting on the floor eating some popcorn after just waking up from a nap.  I laid Graham's blanket down next to his big brother and put him right by Luke.  He instantly stopped crying.  Graham really has a thing for his brother.  I get kind of emotional thinking or talking about it because I think Luke really has no idea the blessing this little boy is going to be in his life and vice versa.  THE POWER OF A BROTHER!!
