8 days of pure family fun.
(sorry if you are on your cell phone, but this movie isn't compatible on mobile...)
Luke is seriously the champ of road trips. I'm not kidding. I mean, your kid might say over 100 words, but can your toddler make it over 12 hours in a car without crying or whining once?!
It was the perfect timing for a road trip because I wasn't too prego yet and we all needed a warm escape. The weather was perfect until Saturday and Sunday. Our drive home got a little hairy through Flagstaff. The freeway was closed so we had to take a sidetrack way through Sedona. I felt really bad for a native Arizona woman who had stopped at the same gas station as us and was pretty distraught in the bathroom. She had never driven in snow like that, and was just headed into more of it through New Mexico. Poor lady.
It always a good time to be prego on vacation because I kept pressuring everyone to sneak out after dinner and get a treat (ie Jenna).
We did a lot of swimming in both Palm Springs and Arizona. Luke was a monster in the pool. You'll notice in the video above him trying to copy Isaac as he ran and dove into the pool, Luke was fearless. The Arizona Grand had the perfect set up for Luke. Their kiddie pool was the perfect depth for him, and the bonus was I could just sit and watch him without any assistance! I felt like I had an 8 year old, pure bliss.
We also did a lot of baseball watching. Isaac had a tournament there (the whole reason for the trip) and it was so fun to see how awesome their team is, and catch some rays.
It really was a perfect little getaway with some of the Knight crew... baseball and swimming!
I'm glad we did that before baby Graham gets here! (did I just say that name on the blog... yeah, but the name has pretty much stuck)

Isaac and Luke after a day of swimming.
Luke's famous belly flops. He does them like crazy. His wind-up before is the best part!
snuggles in the towel.
