We took our great friends {The Rammells} up to experience the lake house. We had just gotten back from a 10+ day stay a week and a half before, but I was ready to get back there. Why? THE LAKE EFFECT!
Def: THE LAKE EFFECT: a magical thing that happens when you are at Lake Wenatchee. You sleep amazing. Your babies sleep amazing. Your stresses in life seem to subside. You become a child again.
We had windy weather {perfect for Darren, Dick and Andrew} to windsurf. Then we had one perfect day of calm water to play in the lake. And in between all that, we went hot tubbing- played Nertz- watched movies- took naps- jumped on the tramp- threw rocks in the water- played with blocks- and ate great food.

I love this pic. Dick is such a great father-in-law. This is after going across the whole lake and back- didn't even get his hair wet! Amazing.
Megan and Jenna canoeing. Me paddle boarding. Looking as good as Jennifer Aniston does. bahaha. Oh and the great shoes I'm wearing are FABULOUS. I don't care that they look somewhat ridiculous with the outfit.
My heart is sad that Jenna and I didn't get one good {cute} pic together.
My hope is that the Rammells feel in love with this magical place.
It was the BEST way to finish off summer.

Did you actually find some water shoes just like mine? I didn't think mine would fit on your feet!! Looks like fun!!
