Fire Alarm

I want to remember this one...

Last night D and I went to a free dinner with some friends about fire safety.  It got me all sorts of paranoid about fire hazards in our house etc.  When we got home L was already sound asleep (8:30ish) and life was good.  D and I watched some Modern Family and I went upstairs to get ready for bed while D watched the Jazz game.  Being Darren, he got out his laptop and started doing fire hazard research.  Which then made him decide to check out fire alarms.  Which would have been great...

But -- all of the sudden all the alarms in the house start going off because he discovered our downstairs alarm wasn't even turned on, and was testing it.  I yelled some not so nice words downstairs asking him what he was doing!!  Luke was awake -- screaming and scared.

Lesson for D: Although testing the fire alarms are a great thing to do--  Don't do it at 11 PM.    

Good news: L fell back to sleep and slept great.  (he must really love his dad, because if would have kept us up all night--mom wouldn't be so happy with dad)
