Darren did ANOTHER triathlon June 27th... in Vernal!! It was his biggest tri he has done so far, and he was quite nervous (didn't get much sleep the night before) however, he didn't suprise me at ALL when he took 3rd in his age group and 27th overall. Darren is quite the athlete.
He started his swim in Red Fleet and rode to the high school. He could see me getting ready for pictures and was waving at me and Luke :) He later told me he got going like 40 miles an hour on his bike at one point in the race... too fast DARR!
So this looks like a close race, but the kid next to him was just doing a relay, so he had very fresh legs.
