Weekend in California

This is the Hansen's new home. It is such a great house! I can't tell you how beautiful the area is where they live. Darren and I try to go there any chance we get!!

We flew in early Friday afternoon and came back Sunday night. (It was a quick trip) We saw three softball/baseball games. The kids are all good ball players--that's for sure!! Kaylee is growing up so fast, and she is gorgeous! She's a doll.

So the reason we flew to California for the weekend was for Grant's baptism. As you can see from this picture, he is a looker!! He looked so handsome in his new church clothes, Sophie couldn't resist a kiss. I feel so blessed to have such a great family... I can tell you one thing-- I love these kids so much!

So this is the cutest story ever! We were at Grant's baptism and it was the Confirmation talk right before the three kids were baptized and a lady is up giving the talk and asks Grant what he will do after he is baptized..."It starts with a C...??" Grant thought for a sec and said "Crucified.?" The correct answer of course was Confirmed, but it was soooooooo cute!!!

This is the Hansen's backyard right now. They are putting a pool in their backyard. It will be awesome! I told Jenna that the next time we go down I'm putting my swimsuit on at the airport and diving in the moment we get there.

I'm excited cause I think spring is here for sure and that means SUMMER IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! My dad better get the boat ready!
